After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava, he started working as a corporate lawyer at the Zemianska Olča Agricultural Cooperative, then at the Vrbová nad Váhom Agricultural Cooperative and the Marcelová Agricultural Cooperative. He participated in the transformation process of other agricultural cooperatives in the Komárno district, e.g. Kameničná, Čičov, Tôň, Veľké Kosihy, Klížska Nemá. From 1993 to 1999 he worked as a commercial lawyer in Komárno, focusing on administrative law, commercial law and land law. He participated in the application of restitution claims of entitled persons. After passing the bar examinations in 1999, he worked as an attorney at law until 2002, focusing mainly on administrative law, commercial law, land law and criminal law.
He was appointed a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic on July 04, 2002.
